4. COLD FUSION Previous | Next

Nuclear energy without the drama?

DESPITE what you might have heard, cold fusion never really went away. Over a 10-year period from 1989, US navy labs ran more than 200 experiments to investigate whether nuclear reactions generating more energy than they consume - supposedly only possible inside stars - can occur at room temperature. Numerous researchers have since pronounced themselves believers.

With controllable cold fusion, many of the world's energy problems would melt away: no wonder the US Department of Energy is interested. In December 2003, after a lengthy review of the evidence, it said it was open to receiving proposals for new cold fusion experiments. In this chapter I explore some of the scientific results, attend a talk to the US Navy Research Conference where some of the researchers present their ongoing work, and go to the house of Martin Fleischmann, one of the original cold fusion pioneers. Fleischmann was disgraced in 1989, but he still stands by the work he was doing.

for examples of cold fusion performed in a home lab with the use of tesla coils and van de graaf generators google "hutchison effect" also see the videos on you-tube.  john hutchison gave his research freely to the u.s. millitary, where a lot of cutting-edge technology disappears.  his lab was confiscated by the canadian government in 1990 in the interest of "national security."  also, for a really interesting ride, see the work of drjudywood, a phd and professor in mechanical engineering (drjudywood.com) for a discussion of hutchison-like effects associated with the destruction of the wtc in nyc on 11/09/2001.

when cold fusion devices are developed that have commercial viability, asia will probably be the first to challenge the status quo.  HAARP-triggered earthquakes and directed energy weapons such as took down the world trade centre complex on 9/11 will undoubtably, maybe already, be used against asia to try to keep it towing the line of the oil cartel and the federal reserve system.  asia will be forced into a corner and war could be the result.  directed energy weaponry comes out of hutchison-effect technology.   some of the most underhanded critics of cold fusion have connections to directed beam weaponry research. see:
